One
must learn to love, and go through a good deal of suffering to get to it...and
the journey is always towards the other soul... "I
have enjoyed the happiness of the world; I have lived and loved." I also would like to say one needs to read poetry as one drinks wine - slowly, thoughtfully, purposely. Each word, each line, each placement of a poet's word is there for a reason. If you read it to fast, glazing over the words, you are missing much of the meaning. Like wine, you have to hold it, swirl it, smell it, taste it and lastly, savor it.
